We eliminated 3,000 sq ft of high-water use turfgrass and created a beautiful water-efficient landscape. We installed (350) plants using a combination of mainly drought tolerant and low-water use plant materials, with a small percentage of medium-water use plants, in accordance to WUCOLS. We then replaced the existing overhead spray irrigation system with a pressure-compensating drip irrigation system and added a 2" layer of mulch throughout.

We established a 72% reduction in water use.
